子どもたちに美しい地球を残すために、負荷の高いクルマではなく自転車をすすめております。交通手段を変えると、私たちが環境に与える悪影響が大きく減ります。荷台やリヤカーを使うと、自転車は自分自身の体を運ぶだけでなく、自分以外の人やモノも運ぶことができます。自転車を使うと、楽しみながら、健康で、明るい未来に向かうことが出来ます。さあ、あなたも一緒に自転車で走りませんか！
Our children deserve a healthy future, so we must do what we can
to protect the environment through our lifestyle choices. I call
this lifestyle `Eco-style:` a philosophy of making everyday life
choices with the environment in mind. We can commute by bicycle,
and with the proper carrier, we can shop, take our children to
school, and be healthy. Through cycling, we can avoid the hectic
pace that accompanies modern life. We can slow down, enjoy life,
and ensure a bright future for our children. Let's go by bicycle!
About me
環境に配慮したライフスタイルを追求すべく、エコな仕事を選び、田舎の木の家に住み、薪を燃料としてを使っております。家族との意識共有を目指しているのですが・・・。ここが課題です。クルマから自転車への転換。自分としては難しいことでないと考えるのですが・・・。家族との意識共有・・・。やっぱりここが課題です。
Before I opened Eco-style, I was a salaryman at a seatbelt maker.
One day when I thought about my future children, I had to
reevaluate my life choices, and think about their future. Cycling
has always been part of my life. I enjoy mountain biking, road
biking, and working on bicycles. I recognize that cars are useful,
but I think people should do what they can to avoid using cars. I
realized that I couldn't tell my children my feelings about
cars, and express my concern for the environment while working at
a seatbelt company that existed solely because of cars. So I quit
my job and opened Eco-style Bike Shop, so I could be a good role
model for my children. I haven't looked back since.
